So, first you have to start planning your vacation by choosing a macro location. For this example let’s take Croatia.

Croatia has one of the most beautiful coasts in the world with over 1000 islands, islets and peninsulas. It is also a home to 7 national parks, crystal-clear waters, charming fishing villages, and historic towns. Due to warm Mediterranean climate the best time to sail or rent a boat in Croatia is from May to October when the weather is warm, and the sea is calm. July and August are the warmest months but also the most crowded ones.

Now it's time to choose the micro location you want to sail. On Croatian side of Adriatic Sea you can sail from beautiful Istria to unforgettable Dalmatia. Starting points are usually divided in from two main points:

• Starting from Dalmatia - located along the eastern Adriatic Sea, stretching from Zadar in the north to Dubrovnik in the south, You can explore various destinations, from the historical cities of Split and Dubrovnik to the quiet and picturesque islands of Hvar, Mljet, and Kor?ula. You can anchor in secluded bays, swim in turquoise waters, and enjoy the stunning scenery of the rugged coastline.
  

Boat rental options

When it comes to boat rental possibilities in Croatia, there are many options such as motor boats or sailing boats, Boats with crew included or bareboat. But two types are most popular – a sailboat or a catamaran.

Rent a sailboat for a private vacation time will allow you to experience wonderful locations and premium destinations.

For larger families and bigger groups of friends’ ideal option is to rent a catamaran. Being more more popular year after year, catamarans bring a touch of exclusivity to your stil private boat vacation.

If you rent a motorboat you will be much more movable, and go much faster from one destination to another.
